Dean J. Baer Artist Biography

 

Dean J. Baer Born: May 13, 1964 - Sheboygan, Wisconsin, was raised on a farm in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin until age 8. He showed great interest in art at a very early age, often choosing the walls and furniture to express himself versus the usual paper and coloring books.

Dean has lived throughout the US and Europe, he currently resides in the Washington DC area and Tampa, Florida.  He attended Colorado Institute of Art in 1982 and then studied abroad in Germany and Italy.  Influenced by Michelangelo, Picasso and Van Gogh, he continues to explore his interest in the human form combining both Abstract and Impressionism, and would describe his artwork as “Expressionist.”
